Honestly I just did this one because of the name! Yogloo -
yoglue??? But I'm already pre-determined to love it because I use to drink
yogurt beverages during my wonderful year in Korea. These test are so
unscientific...
Bottle appearance:
Like a squat milk bottle, with the name in Chinese, Japanese
and English on the lable. This is by Pooka Beverages - I don't know where
it's actually made.
Soda appearance:
Opaque white, but more translucent than milk.
Smell:
Peaches!
First Impression of taste:
Peaches, and not fakey, either!
Second Impression:
A faint yogurt taste, and an impression of lemon or citrus.
Flavor:
The yogurt flavor is mild and pleasant, the peach very
convincing and nice (but there is real peach juice in it, so go-figure!).
There is a faint aftertaste at about 1/2 the bottle that is vaguely citrus,
but it's "a good thing", as Martha would say.
Carbonation:
It's not. I think carbonated yogurt is what you would call
"fermented".
Full Description:
I adore these yogurt drinks as I already said. Everyone I
tell about this says "yogurt drink? YUK!", but we drink chocolate milk...
what's the difference? It's not as thick as a milk shake - more like Yoo Hoo
in consistancy. Having yogurt in it lets you chug one while fooling yourself
and your friends that it's a health drink or something. But this 10 oz bottle
is 170 calories and the major ingrediant is corn syrup.
Score:
James and I give this a 5 - it's yummy and it's unique.
