Well, this cute bottle from Holland looks exactly like our Yoo Hoo.
Even the color of the label is close. So I arrogantly thought "let's see if it can live up
to Yoo Hoo"...
Bottle appearance:
Very plain bottle, with an english ingrediant lable slapped on
top.
Soda appearance:
Very dark chocolate milk look.
Smell:
Very chocolately! Very promising!
First Impression of taste:
Wow - dark, rich chocolate!
Second Impression:
Real milk and a hint of butter.
Flavor:
This tastes just like chocolate milk - with real chocolate and
real milk. Not like Yoo Hoo at all.
Carbonation:
None
Full Description:
Well, I grabbed the bottle and read the English label, and sure
enough, this is nothing like Yoo Hoo. The ingrediants are creamed milk, sugar,
cocoa and stabilizer. I humbly ask Chocomel's forgivness for my attitude before
tasting. Now this is not a drink for everyone - the chocolate is a touch bitter,
and it's not a sweet as they make chocolate milk in America, but we think it's
fabulous.
Score:
This is a 5. It's richer and deeper then I could make at home, and
you can't replicate this with Quick or Hersheys. Great stuff.
