Buzzy's Irish Cream

Buzzy's Irish Cream

I'm already going to love this - I adore coffee and Irish cream, and I haven't found a cappachino-type drink I haven't enjoyed yet.

Bottle appearance:
Cute yuppee-type bottle. It says "believe it and achieve it" on the front, and the back testimonial is as follows" Hi, my name is Buzzy. While I was in college, I drank a LOT of bad coffee. When I graduated, I swore to myself that I was going to find the world's best coffees and share them with my friends. After leaving college, I spent five years searching the world for the perfect coffee. I found it! Now I invite you to share it with me". Hmmmm - he must of been an art major like me.

Soda appearance:
It looks like coffee. Actually, that's good. Lot's of the cappichino drinks on the market don't look like coffee - they look like the imitations that some of them are.

Smell:
Smells just like fresh coffee and Irish Cream.

First Impression of taste:
Sweet iced coffee.

Second Impression:
The Irish Cream hits immediately, and it doesn't taste fake like the little flavor oils you can buy to add to your coffee.

Flavor:
Just what it should taste like - good fairly strong coffee with Irish cream added. No weird aftertastes or hints of "dairy-type" products.

Carbonation:
None - we do have a carbonated coffee soda coming up, though!

Full Description:
We are fighting over the rest of this bottle! I've had quite a few of the iced coffee and cappichino type beverages, and most of them are nice and drinkable, but have overwhelming tastes of skim milk or non-dairy creamers (ICK!!), or just fake flavorings. This is as it should be - the correct texture for coffee with cream, the correct flavor of a freshly brewed pot of coffee that has been iced down, and the delightful Irish cream - not too syrupy sweet, and strong enough to hold it's own. This is a winner.

Score:
We all give this a five. We all want more!!! I was worried with the testimonial on the back of the bottle, but he's right. Buzzy has redeemed all those semesters of bad coffee with this.
